SCHOLLENPOP takes place on the Zuiderstrand beach in Scheveningen. The Schollenpop area is located next to the Southern breakwater.
Schollenpop stands for sun, sea, sand and of course live pop and rock music.
And that all for free. This year is the 14th edition of this successful popfestival which is held in front of the Dunes of The Hague, on the Zuiderstrand (South Beach) of Scheveningen.
Next to the all-famous Parkpop, Schollenpop is quickly becoming the 2nd biggest free popfestival in The Hague. A cool, something for everyone line-up: Fiction Plane, Sepultura, Bettie Serveert, Caro Emerald, Customs, Destine and Ralf Mackenbach, winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009.
A locals only stage combined with the beach as festival terrain, guarantees an unforgettable day in Scheveningen!
And.., dont forget your swimming trunks or bikini for a refreshing dip in the sea!

Car, motorbike and bicycle:
Drive in to the Hague in the direction Den Haag/Voorburg. At the end of the highway follow the signs Scheveningen-haven. These signs will direct you to the Houtrustweg. You will come onto the Houtrustweg after you crossed a canal and turned right at the traffic lights (there is a petrol station immidiately on your left). Schollenpop is at the end of the Houtrustweg. After you have arrived on the Houtrustweg stop following the signs Scheveningen-haven , just keep the canal on your right-hand side and look for a big windmill. Drive towards the windmill and you're there.
There is also a secure bicycle parking area which is open from 09.00 am till midnight.
Public transport:
From "Hollands Spoor"train station: take tram 11 in the direction of Scheveningen.
Get out at the stop for Duinstraat/Brandweerkazerne and cross the road to the bus stop and take bus 23,
direction Duindorp. Get out at the bus stop Tesselsestraat/Nieboerweg then walk 50 meters to the bridge,
then turn left in the direction of the windmill and the beach.
From "Centraal Station" train station:
take tram 17 in the direction of Scheveningen. Get out at the stop van Boetzelearlaan, walk by
the petrolstation and cross the street, wher yoy will find the bus stop "Westduinweg" next to the supermarket.
Take bus 23 in the direction Duindorp.
Get out at the bus stop Tesselsestraat/Nieboerweg then walk 50 meters to the bridge, then turn left in the direction of the windmill and the beach.
